Our Kopi Luwak is something truly special. We harvest the beans exclusively from wild-living luwak trees, allowing the palm civet to pick the best and ripest cherries from the tree—a natural selection process. The fermented coffee has a long-lasting, mildly spicy, slightly peppery flavor.


📍 Origin

Our Kopi Luwak comes 100% from wild animals in Sumatra and northern Bali. The civets live freely on the coffee plantations there and are not kept in cages. We personally monitor the cats' conditions on-site several times a year.

A very special delicacy

The luwak, also known as the palm civet, is a species of civet that lives in the tropical forests of Indonesia. Its diet includes coffee cherries, and it only eats the best and ripest cherries from the tree. In its digestive tract, the cherries then undergo a very special, incomparable fermentation process, unlike any other coffee processing. The enzymes in the intestine extract the bitterness and acidity from the bean. This gives the coffee its unique, mild aroma. Your exclusive companion.

Tropical coffee happiness

Everything is different in Bali. Unlike Java or Sumatra, coffee was not introduced here by the Dutch. Traders from the neighboring island of Lombok originally brought the coffee plant to Bali. We source both Arabica and Robusta beans exclusively in the north of the island, where they ripen at altitudes of up to 1,700 meters. Thanks to the traditional wet processing, Bali coffee is lighter and stronger than dry coffee.
