For good reason, Sumatra's inhabitants call it the "Island of (Coffee) Gold." Sumatra is Indonesia's second-largest island and one of the region's largest coffee-growing areas. Our coffee ripens in warm tropical mountain air at elevations over 1,500 meters. The Arabica beans are sun-kissed on the mountain slopes of Aceh and Lake Toba and, after harvest, are dry-processed.
